Costco air hockey table - HEAVY duty, arcade quality for about $250

:banghead: Why oh why didn't I buy this when it was new at Costco??

:hmm: Ok, so about a year and a half ago, (early or mid 2003 or so) Costco had this super high quality air hockey table with overhead scoring, even air distribution, highly durable metallic siding, and was a HEAVY table (I think about 500lbs), for about $250 - $280.

Since then I've heard from a Costco employee that they changed hockey tables since, and now they're $279.99 and made of plastic mostly, only weighs about 210lbs with no overhead scoring system (its inlaid in the table) and and is a 7.5ft Harvard table. I could lift half of it (something i couldn't do with the other one) :o

Does anyone know what brand that original air hockey table was?! anyone see that deal back then?? :cry: :cry:
 
:hmm: Yes... YES... I see this as an extreemely similar item, perhaps even it! I need to know how much it weighs, what kind of motor runs the air - that kind of info. I will start searaching! Thank you, for you have turned my ever ending quest into a never ending quest! ::: I'm OFF!::: ;)

I saw one like it at my local Costco a couple weeks ago.

It was a Harvard brand, really nice. Can't remember the price, I think it was $200 or $300. Really nice table though, made of metal and everything. This is probably the one you're talking about, so my Costco still has it.

Glad I could help. It appears that it is a Sportcraft table. I will see if I can find out anything else for you.
