Costco - Old 4GB Ipod Mini, Armband, Belt Clip + 15 Free Itunes + Warranty $179

Costco now has the older 4gb Ipod Minis with extras for $179.99. This price is slightly higher than Amazon, but Costco takes returns as long as you keep your membership. It's like a lifetime warranty.

If you don't care about warranty or extras, we recommend buying this unit from Amazon to save on tax.

Costco's Return Policy

Does anyone have details on Costco's "general" warranty/return policy? For example, if I buy this iPod or a DVD player from them and in two years it stops working or I don't like it anymore, can I return it as long as I'm still a memeber?? Also does this apply to all purchases from them? FYI I do know that their computer policy is 6 months.

I wouldn't bet on that much time!

FYI - the armband costs $29.99 retail, so if you want that accessory, this is probably a better deal than Amazon..

I posted a deal for the Creative Zen Micro 4G (preorder) on the rebates section. is 179.90 after rebate (plus shipping and tax)
But the Micro has 12 hrs removable batery and a FM tuner.
Check out my post on the rebate section.

Big daddy, I have tried to return 1 of my pocket PC last time and it was 4 years old which I purchased it freom Costco. They did take it back and give me back full refunded with no question asked!! Costco return policy is great!!! As long as it is not Desktop or Latop (6 months return policy), then everything else is almost lifetime warranty!!! However I don't have any written policy, I think it's well-known!

Thanks! Did you need the original box, manuals and receipt?

I did give back the original box and manual, but not the receipt though! they could look it up in the computer!!

Thanks!!! I guess I'll buy my bedroom DVD player there. :D :claps:

gone

It looks like this offer is gone, at least it isn't on Costco.com any longer. They have minis for $199. I'm still hitting Costco tomorrow just in case.
As far as the return policy goes, I took back a DVD player that stopped reading DVDs after over a year of use; no receipt, no box, no manual and I forgot the cables at home. They just looked it up to make sure that they sold that model and gave me a credit slip.

 Man, I can't believe I spent $275 in May to get one of those stinking minis! I mean I like it, but electronics are so frustrating. Maybe I'll sell the mini and get one of those new ipods with the colour screens. (even though they're a million bucks)

I wish Apple sold those black ipods (except without U2) they are so cool looking

P.S. if you want a mini, don't go for the 4 gig one since the battery life is so annoying it's always dying. The 6 gig I think has an improved battery.

Didn't you win an iPod in the logo contest??

No, I'm getting a gamecube (woo-hoo). But a gamecube you can't take around jamming to music and such.

An Ipod would have been cool for a prize though...
:hmm:
I'm actually looking into possibly one of the Iriver players in the future since I have some sort of retardation when it comes to apple products (especially my itunes)

I will always be a pc user i suppose.

Just to clarify, the new "2G" (2nd generation mini) that comes in 4-gig or 6-gig does in fact have an 18-hour battery. The 4-gig is $200 and the 6-gig is $250. However, you do not get the plug-in charger anymore. I think that's a good trade-off, myself. Besides, for the original $250, you can get the charger, cable, and the 4-gig with the much better battery life. If you want a 4-gig model, make sure you get the new 2G model!
