I was hunting this rebate form across other forums and internet. Seems like nobody has seen this rebate form yet. :banghead:

I called them. Steven (Stephen?) said that management is aware of the discrepancy, and it will be fixed during normal business hours Monday, so check back then.

It was neat. All I did was say that a rebate was missing, and he knew which product I was talking about.

Also, as long as the order is placed by the rebate's expiration date, youre covered.

They still have not posted the form as of 2pm pst and they just bumped the on-line price from $159 to $179 before rebate. FYI they are $199 at Frys, I just checked.

Not only is the rebate still not posted, but theyve raised the price $20. Guess I lose out... again.

AND I was beaten to the post by that guy above me!! :suspect:


BUT... I called them and explained that earlier today put it in my cart at $159, then I came back to buy it and it was $179! So the wonderful lady on the phone conferred with her manager and gave me the $159 price. I think I love that lady, Rebecca..

Also, rebate should be up tomorrow (they said that yesterday too) but if you cant wait any longer you can call them and theyll mail you a copy of the rebate.

Oh, and theyre backordered too. I may not even receive it by Xmas, she told me. Oh well.. I guess my GF can wait for her present :cry: :banghead: ...

And now the item has been removed from the website along with the link to the rebate (which they still dont have). You can call them at 1-877-688-7678 and the customer service people can add you to a list to email the rebate to.

Cool. A rebate, finally.

Regarding the backorder, they are expecting a shipment of these on December 2nd. They have 249 units backordered and will be getting 310 units in the shipment; so all of us who ordered should be getting them in plenty of time for the Holidays.

Fry's - Outpost out of stock?

When I click on the link I get an error at outpost and nothing comes up when I search their site for the unit - out of stock?

Buy.com has a slightly higher price for the same unit and free shipping

It may or may not be offered again. They removed the product page dur to the response and having 250 units backordered. When they get the shipment on the 2nd of Dec, they may (or may not) replace the page.

No. The units never came with the Dec. 2nd shipment and they dont have any idea when theyre coming in. They say that they are gonna try to meet the rebate deadline, but they dont actually know anything... they "are at the mercy of the manufacturer".

While I never recieved confirmation of them receiving the items in a shipment, I received my Muvo today. The box label says it was shipped 12/07; so all the rest of you should be getting them pretty soon.
 
I got my rebate check today after their telling me my rebate entry wasnt valid and my calling them three times to get it authorized.

Good luck to all who ordered this one.

btw - my exgf loves it, even though Ive had to send it back once for repair and now its acting up again...
