Doh!

I had some strange results with these things. I installed them into an ATHLON 64 mobo and it didn't even get into the BIOS screen. Then I pulled one, it booted fine. Pulled the other and it booted fine of the other stick. I added in some old (slower memory) and it booted fine with either stick plus the old memory. But in no case would it boot with both of these sticks installed.
