I purchased a CyberHome CH-DVD 300 with progressive scan, 3:2 pulldown, S-Video and composite video outputs, PAL/NTSC supported, MP3 and JPG ready.....all for $48.00 with the $10 rebate. The clerk said this deal would be available thru June 15

Don't know but it looks like the moderator just pulled it up off the RadioShack website. It's a cute little unit and the biggest surprise is the progressive scan feature. I have a 3 year old box that I paid $500 for that does not have that feature. How do they make money on this stuff?

Yeah, no kidding. I paid about $150 for my Toshiba SD3800 progressive unit less than a year ago. I would've loved to get a better deal like one of these. It's a compact unit though. I wonder if that's a good thing or a bad thing. It seems like it has all the features of a big unit.

Speaking of that Toshiba, now that I have my Sony home theater, I don't really need it. If anyone wants to give me $100, I'll sell it right away. It's in brand new condition. I'll post it on the selling board when I'm more serious about getting rid of it.
