how much would you want for it, beno? I ordered one, but I may cancel it if the price is right....and I could get that piece of junk out of your closet, too! Two birds with one dollar, so to speak.

These are a great way to share a printer over a small network such as you may set up in your home. Recently bought one for my daughter and her husband so they can print from the living room in their home to the printer in another room over their wireless connection. Just hook this device to the wireless router and follow instructions to set up the printer on your computer. Works great!

I've been looking for a product like this for a while. This seems like a decent deal - but the reviews on newegg are concerning. Are these hard to setup / get working?

I have still in the box.. never used actually.
I have cut out the UPC and sent in the rebate but they said it was invalid bc of bad postmark date or some other BS.
If anyone wants it, I can do $15 + actual shipping.
Let me know: my username@hotmail Thanks! :]

The one I setup for my daughter and her husband only had instructions for Windows XP and older. She is running Vista. Couldn't get it to work for a while. Took it home and hooked it up to my XP network and was able to figure it out. I had to manually set the IP address on the print server to 192.168.1.10 to work with the router IP address of my daughters network of 192.168.1.1. If all this makes sense to you - a breeze to setup. If not, it can be done but could potentially be confusing with Windows Vista. But what isn't?

Will this work for me?

I have cable internet. I have a usb printer which is hooked up to a desktop. I also have a wireless router that is sync'd to to laptop for wireless internet. Will this device allow me to print from my laptop?

Was contemplating purchasing a wifi printer but if this will do the job..... . .

Price went up to $24.99 with shipping. Ebay has them for $19.99 free shipping btw.

Thanks
Jessica

Should work fine for you. This would connect to your router via network cable which I believe is included. Then once you set it up, you can print wirelessly from any computer connected to your router either through a cable or wireless. Be aware any computer using the printer would have to have the printer setup on that computer.

I received mine today. I set it up on my network and it immediately was detected and assigned a dynamic IP address. I configured two machines (one wireless, one connected to router) and they both print perfectly to my Canon i960 printer. Very nice!!!
