Link to first $70 rebate does not work. Have tried Spoofee.com's link and from the CC website.
 
For some reason I could not order this over the website. "Continue to secure checkout" would not work. I placed this order via phone for local pick up. After doing this I went back to the website to check this deal and now only one $70 rebate is showing. The page has been changed. Good deal is dead.
 
someone (Erik?) has to have a copy of both rebate forms... maybe in their web cache, maybe saved, maybe printed and they can scan it back in?
 
No, I do not have any copies of it.
 
I have talked to corporate HQ customer service and was told that there is some direction coming down about this. Many people placed the order prior to the webpage change but the confirmation Email did not show both rebates.
 
Choochoojr, you really ARE a Super Moderator.
I ordered online, got the confirmation and picked up the monitor tonight. THEN clicked the links for the rebates. CC will get a nasty email about not specifying how long I had to get the forms. My confirmation email does have the TWO rebates listed, so I don't expect MUCH more hassle from them. But you and the Spoofee moderators definitely go above and beyond for us. Thanks.

Circuit City won't honor the 2nd $70 rebate

Deal is worth than dead. If you tried it as I did, you should know that Circuit City has said that it won't honor the second $70 rebate, even if you have the form.
Not really very nice about it either. I spoke with two levels of customer service, their rebate management company (Young America) and CC "corporate." One $70 rebate only. "It was an error. I apologize."

Hopefully no one who bought will be hurt too badly if the rebate isn't honored. If you just mail everything in for both, maybe in 8 weeks you'll get the bad news. "Tough luck." By then it will be too late to return the monitor.

I agree, all of you guys on this site are awesome! I have saved so much just coming here everyday. I think Im becoming addicted though because I keep buying things I don't need just because they are such a good deal!!!
 
It is never too late to return the monitor. When CC offered both rebates as part of the sale they made them part of the implicit contract. If they refuse to honor the offer then the sale can be legally reversed at any "reasonable" time after the refusal.
