I ordered one of these this morning. This is a really hot deal.

The HP Photosmart 7660 Photo Printer is $10 after $90 MIR. Buy it at Circuit City, use their $40 MIR and then send in the $50 HP MIR. Both rebates ask for copies of the UPC.

The second rebate says that it is valid at selected resellers, but it has been confirmed by customer service reps that it is valid anywhere.

Total for me will be $16 after rebate including tax. The lowest price on PriceGrabber is around $120-$130.

This deal is hot, especially since your UPC code is still intact! :D ;)
 
I might try to eBay it, probably like thousands and thousands of other people, I'll see whether I want to keep it.

It has the UPC though so it's actually worth something, although there will be tons on eBay. Maybe I'll keep it, don't know.
 
There aren't any available for shipping and the three stores in my area are out of stock. Too bad, this was a good one... :(
 
I ordered one for store pickup. They had 2 in my area. Also, can anyone confirm the largest photo you can print on this? Looks like 4X6 so I would have to cut down photo paper I already have I guess.

This printer can easily print 8 1/2 x 11 pictures BORDERLESSLY. Thats a big jump for hp since only the canon printers can do that back in the day. U might be able to print out at legal size but who knows, it's hard to find photo paper for that size anyways.

Hp makes wonderful printers, quality is wonderful, but the pictures aren't waterproof :(
 
retail price is $125, after $90 rebate ,it's still $35. where did $10 come from?

Ahhh. You ran into the same problem as I. At the store, it's $124.99. You have to tell them that the price online is $95 (bring the ad with you). They charged me too much as I was not paying attention and I went back to the store and they gave me the $30 credit. Hope that helps.
 
On circuitcity website, the printer is no long $99.99 it's $129.99
 
I was going to order a bunch of these last night, but got lazy. Now CC realized the demand and increased the price by $30. Damn!

Well the deal has changed. It's more like $30 for the printer now, but that's still a good deal.
 
Bad news. I received the CC rebate for $40, but HP sent me a postcard stating that the $50 is invalid due to CC being a non-qualifying store. I guess I'm stuck with buying the printer for $60 AR. That hurts.
 
Yeah, they've been rejecting the $50 rebate. I don't know what we can do about it.

However, I'm surprised I forgot to post, but call Circuit City and have them lower your price to $74.99. They went down in price in store and if you call them, they'll call your local store and verify that the printer was indeed $74.99 at some point, and they'll lower your price with no problem. I read it over at $lickDeals and it actually works.

So, it ends up being $35AR, which isn't too bad.
 
Call them to lower the price? You mean the store? I had to go into the store before to get a pricematch. I bought this on 9/14/04 so I doubt they will do that or even let me return it to the store (I never opened it).
