I have used VMWare Workstation in the past and have heard of fusion but not having a Mac, I dont know all of the differences. Having switched to Linux myself, and not willing to dish out $200 for VMWare Workstation (on top of Windows license), I recently installed virtualbox. Its free and does the same thing.
