The contrast ratio is good at 800:1 so this would be a good monitor except. . . it has a 20ms response time which is very unsatisfactory for playing games.

I actually have a 2001FP and a 1905FP and BOTH work great for gaming... never see ghosting or anything unsatisfactory. I would DEFINITELY recomend getting yourself one of these, especially at this price.

What recycling fee?....for LCDs??....does that mean you'll get your $8 back when you bring to to the LCD recycling station in the future? You know, like you pay CRV fee for the bottles at the store and get it back when you recycle...

Because of Arnold? HAH. Right. The recycling fee is there because people just toss the moniters/tvs because it used to cost money to dispose of them. Now, they are free to dispose of so people have no excuse to dump them. The fee is for the cost that is there to dispose of it. Its about time they did this.

Games look good on my screen too. The only thing I do find annoying is dark backgrounds with scanlines. It tends to create a flashing sensation between the two colors. I don't see it very often so It's something I can live with. Still very much worth the almost $300 I spent on my 19" LCD.

I was reading the cons on this product so here they are..remember these are other peoples opinions on this product.

Cons: Poor response time, Poor color presentation

Cons: Not for graphic artists. Cannot handle skin tones (reds), colors, or dark darks well.

Cons: video, dvds.

Cons: Pixel size is to large, slow response time and average color chromiance and luminescence

Cons: Minor ghosting, but probably only gamers would care
