this is a NICE laptop

I bought the 700m for my wife about a year ago... She wanted the small one (I have the Inspiron 9300, the biggest Dell sold at the time). I was sceptical but I bought it. We found it for $1499 with $500 off after coupons and employee discount (I work for a Dell contractor).

She uses this at work and at home and her battery lasts days. I actually like hers better than mine.... I would recommend this laptop to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It feels a lot more sturdy than the 9000 and 5400 series laptops, the LCD is better, the HDD is bigger than mine, more ram... Hers still cost about $200 more than mine but it was well worth it.

buy it for this price, if I had the cash now I'd buy one for me...
 
ive been waiting to buy another 710m since spoofee had a deal on it and i bought one for my friend.....i was looking and finally decided on the new small xps for ~1500 and 2 days later this :mad:

but i ordered it and will wait until monday to cancel the xps since dell education sales is closed today
 
that's an awesome deal for this computer I recently got a 710m a few months ago and I am extremely pleased with it. It's so light and portable.:)

i bought a dell xps (newest smallest one) came out to be 1700 and also no dvd burner
 
great deal, just got it in today and its a great laptop...just hate that getting a dell is like going to someones house and cleaning up all the spyware cause theres so much preinstalled crap
