Did You Buy Reebok EasyTone or RunTone Shoes or Apparel? class action suit

You may be eligible for a refund.

The Federal Trade Commission, the nation’s consumer protection agency, charged Reebok with making claims about EasyTone and RunTone shoes that the company couldn’t support. According to the FTC, Reebok claimed that using these products would strengthen and tone leg and butt muscles.

To settle the case, Reebok has agreed to pay $25 million for refunds to people who bought Reebok toning shoes or apparel.

More information is available on the FTC's Reebok Hotline at 202-326-2852.

Anyone heard anything else about this ...

Anyone heard anything else about this ...

Usually takes about 6months to 1 year to get anything back. when the Fisher Price Toys were recalled I put in for this as I bought some on the list for my grandson.
got back $32 in vouchers. Thought they'd have been here in time for last christmas but they arrived about April or May of this year. Takes a while but you will get what you put in for if you qualified.

Just got a check from US Bank for the Reebok Easytone Litigation. Anyone else get one? It is a postcard type check. I will let my bank hold it to be sure it clears first.

mine came in todays mail...yeah it looks pretty fishy lol i am taking it to US bank and cashing it there :)

Got mine today too... i dont think it looks fishy.. just mass produced.. I have received many checks like this...

Mine will be used as a down payment for a car since my motor locked up in mine.

I rec'd my checks yesterday , I had purchased two pair at JcPenneys .. and my check came for 87.45 each .. the thing is ..they sent me three checks.. I only purchased two pair.. so I need to get ahold of them tomorrow and see what they want me to do with the extra check.. I checked the numerical numbers on each check..none are duplicates.. I wonder how many will receive extra checks.. but I am not cashing the extra one ,and maybe get in trouble..

Daughter got hers yesterday. Her hubby's car broke down so this added surprise will help! Thanks so much!
Now wondering when the sketchers one will arrive!:)
There was one for sketchers shape ups, nothing here so must've seen on another board. I bought those so I'm hoping to see a check in a few months.
Here's the info:

I purchased two pair and got one check for $87.45. I think you got two extra checks. It does not make sense that they would cut a check for every pair of shoes purchased.

I got mine as well - I googled it thinking I better check this out! I had thought the litigation said up to $50 dollars so was pleasantly surprised when I saw 87.45!

I received my check last week but it is only for $43.72. Everyone else got $87.45? WTH??

I believe the amount depends on how many pairs you purchased? My Grandmother received $144.29. Hope this helps.

Wow,am I behind. I didnt see this on the Reebok until now and its too late to file for the suit. UGH!
