Very cool.. so to actually dig a hole to China you'd have to be starting it in Chile

My understanding is that there are only a few places in North America (or was that few land masses in the world) where digging would get you to China. It is all part of China's plan you see.

The Earth's core would be a snap. Once past the core, you are digging upside down. That is the tricky part.
