I would like to tape my kids talking, singing, whatever. I was thinking I'd just get a microcasette recorder, but then I saw those other things.

Anyone have any experience with either? What brands are good, features to look for, etc.? I want to stay under $75, don't need anything fancy- I would just like to catch some memories. I'm leaning toward the tapes because I'm tech-challenged and if it's too confusing for my little brain I'll never use it.

Thanks-

It might be a good idea to buy an MP3 player with voice recording.

Go digital because then you can burn it all onto CD easier and with higher quality. Not hard at all. ;)

Does that work just like burning pictures onto a disk? If so, I can actually handle that! Is it the same kind of disk, or is there a different one for that?

You would be saving the files off of the recorder using a cable to hook it up to the PC. (or blue tooth if both are equipped) Then you would choose those files to burn to a CD. I am pretty sure that is all you would need to do. Knowing computers, you might have to finesse it a bit. LOL Good Luck :bigok:
