DiscountTireDirect.com is giving a $100 off when you buy 4 tires and an extra $100 off if you also buy wheels.

Update : Prices seem to have been slightly raised right before this promotion started.

definitely a good deal, i can get a set of 225/45/18 Kuhmo SPT's for $340, THAT is good value right there.

This is definitely a good deal, especially since they also offer free shipping and no tax.

The challenge is to find an installer who will do a decent job and not burn a hole thru' your pocket so you don't end up paying for installation what you saved by buying online.

Do folks have any suggestions on that ?

Great deal!

I had just been pricing tires on tirerack.com, and then I saw this offer. I found the same tires for the same price on Discount Tire Direct.com and now I am going to save $100. Thanks for the posting!

Wal-Mart will mount a carry in tire for $3.50. Balance is another $7.50 and is good for the life of the tire. So $44 will get you mount and balance. Mounting and balancing is really controlled by the machine so I don't see any problem with Wal-Mart doing it.

I don't think they will mount 17" or larger tires if you have custom rims because they don't want to be liable if they scratch them. At least that's what I've been told at various locations.

Mount and balance at a "regular" tire shop is about $20 each. I don't know of any places around here that mount your tires for free even if you buy them there.

This deal is really good with the free shipping (that they always have). The prices don't look higher to me. At least not enough to notice as compared to the last time I looked.

There's one tire place near me that includes everything in their price and another one where I used to live. Those are Buffalo Tire in Charlotte and Dunn Tire in Buffalo.

Thank You Spoofee! I just got the best deal on tires in USA. Free shipping and no tax! I must be dreaming.

found better prices, scam they raised the prices before the sale

Great deal even if they raised the price a little

Bought a set for my Honda lxi H rated tires and a set for my mini van (Villager) total $352 shipped to the house with Valve stems $3 a tire incuded in the price. NO WAY someone local can beat that in my area and I called around for some one to install/dispose tires and the range per set was $45 - $85 (if your smart enough to leave SEARS out of the Quote LOL). A lot of used tire places will help you out if your tires have any decent tred left on your old tires if that helps anyone that doesn't run them bald like me:) Thanks Spoofee;)

Thanks Spoofee!

I got a great deal on my tires. The local Direct Tires store matched the $100 off, so I bought them locally!

:claps::claps: :claps:

I also got a set of tires cheaper than I found elsewhere for my little hyundai. $120 shipped for 4 15" tires to my door is pretty damn good!

Too bad they don't have decent pricing on some of the bigger sizes which i need for my other car. I wonder if tirerack will price match the coupon?

Damn called tirerack.com and the won't offer the same discount. =(

No Problem...

Wal Mart or Pep Boys will do them for $45-50 tax included...

is 100$ offer over?
I don't see it on the link provided in the post :(

Deal expired on the 20th. Oh well. My daughter needs tires on her car. Around here, Les Schwab has a good reputation and is hassle free so we'll take it there.

Deal expired on the 20th.

This should seriously be put up on the main page. How hard is it really to keep on top of a month's worth of the deals on the main page? Shanoofee knew it was over on the 24th, over a week before i wasted half an hour with this today.
