Dish Network is currently offering Cinemax for 1 cent if you switch to autopay and paperless billing.

Some people have only received 3 months and some people that already had autopay got a year free too.

If you have Dish Network, follow the following instructions

1. Call 1-800-333-DISH
2. Go to Billing
3. Ask about a Cinemax Promo for 1 Cent for signing up for paperless billing
 
Be sure to put parental controls on Skinemax for evenings if you have younguns around

btw: the guy told me that as long as i leave it like this, i am able to get it for 3 years....

BUT IF i cancel anytime (paperless/autopay) that i will be subject for the full fee.
 
The only thing that confused me was when the guy said I could not have any other movie packages, but I have HBO currently. The rep still added it on and said it will be activated in the next 5 to 10 minutes.
 
I called and signed up. I logged into my account and see the following under my programming section
HBO/SHOW/MAX 3 MO FREE

I am at work and not sure if I am getting HBO and Showtime as well and if its for 3 months only.

thats what the guy told me too, i asked him to clarify,

the way he said it, was that you could not add hbo or max for .01 or in lieu of showtime.

dish is also having a special with starz if you subscribe for 3 months for starz you can get a check for $40 by filling out the redeption form.starz is 12.99/mnth.$10 if you have the dish dvr advantage
 
How much does Dish cost?

Comcast is $33 for Basic Cable & $33 for Internet.

Internet alone is $52. Ridiculous....
 
I was worried that since I already had autopay and paperless that I would be sol, but the rep said since I already have it, she will simply add it, and It should be there in 15 minutes. She said the annual rate was actually $1, so I said that is fine.
 
Existing AutoPay/Paperless Billing = 2¢ for 2 years

I already have AutoPay and Paperless billing, but based on previous comments, I called anyway.

I spoke to a woman named "Mark" and she gave me 2 years for 2 cents! :claps:

She did advise me that if I cancel AutoPay [and/or?] Paperless Billing I would be charged the regular annual rate for the Cinemax 5 channel package.

But she confirmed that if I were to cancel the free Cinemax and then later cancel the AutoPay and/or Paperless Billing I would be fine.

Direct TV needs to do something like this!
 
If you're no longer under contract with Direct TV and still getting their service, give them a call and speak to managment if you have to and mention this special - you'll never know.

We got a good deal from Comcast but when our contract was over for a Cable/Internet/Phone deal and they jacked up the price to what they call "regular price" - we called to let them know we were switching to AT&T because they were waiting to hear from us about our desition to drop Direct TV and sign up with them at a lower price.

Comcast rolled back their price to what we had during the contract and gave us HBO and Showtime for a year.

I had autopay but not paperless billing. Called, signed-up and got the Cinemax Channels for .01 for one year. Yay!!!!
 
Signed up yesterday for 12 months for 1 cent. Looked at my online account and it still doesn't show premium channel added even though i already receive the Cinemax channels.

One thing I noticed: Cinemax has a bunch of soft porns at night. What is up with that??? I thought it was a movie channel like HBO.
 
Will this deal work for customers who have Dish through AT&T? I pay my Dish Network TV bill, phone, and DSL bill to AT&T. Can I take advantage of this promo?
 
Free Cinemax only applies to Dish Service people only

To clarify, I called Dish network and customer service confirmed that the special exists. But (and there is always a but). I was informed that I have a packaged service through AT&T. And this offer doesn't extend to AT&T customers who use dish network. This special are for those who use DISH service alone as a cable service. If anyone has different experience please tell me.
 
FYI: I just called Dish Network to cancel Cinemax as the 1 year period was up for this deal. The CSR said as long as I continued to opt-in for paperless billing, I could get Cinemax for an additional year for a penny!!
