We have been arguing about whether the storms we have in the gulf are bringing waves to the west coast. I say there is no way they can get to the west coast from the gulf.

Is it possible?

West coast as in California?
Somebody find a map for morrie.

I'm in San Diego right now. The waves don't look any different to me.

Can't they travel through the Panama Canal?

I thought wave formation had to do with the limnology (the study just doesn't zero in on lakes and ponds!) of the ocean floor and teutonic plate movement? I also still believe in Santa Claus!

Why on earth wouldn't everyone believe in Santa Claus? I don't think the waves could be affected by Gulf water activity.
