Ok I went out with some of my girls thurs. nite and....... I was sitting in my car waiting for my friend to come and get me (to drunk to drive) and some military guys that was dancing with us earlier was walking by my car and saw me. So they came up and was talking to me. So I'm like whatever, trying to be nice and talking back and I was also on the phone with my ride at the same time and one of them says, "So how about I bend you over this hood and stick my BLANKETY BLANK up your BLANK. I was like "OMG no he didn't" so I said, "here why don't you ask my friend if you can do that to me" (because my friend is a guy and I knew he would be like "dude dont talk to her like that" or whatever). So he said "sure ok". Soooooooooooooooooo I handed him my phone.....AND HE RAN. HE RAN OFF WITH MY PHONE OMG! So I looked at the other guy. Who was standing there pretty quiet the whole time. I said "Man is he coming back?!?". the dude was like I dont know what hes doing. So I saw him run by again and I jumped out of the car and ran after him, i was going off. but he got away and took my cell phone with him. grrrrrr! My ride came and was like all pissed and stuff and I told him man just dont worry about it. anyways i thought that was something really weird, for some military guy to just run off with your cell phone. LOL

Just because he was Military, :worry: doesn't make him a great guy. I have respect for the Military-but he was still out at a bar.........

:mmph: I would have been upset also, but I would never have talked to him while I was outside and alone.

:( Sorry to hear that you lost your phone. Be glad all you lost was your phone.

My ex was in the military, dishonorably discharged for arson, and bi-polar (unbeknownst to me until one day he just stopped taking his meds) Just because he's military doesn't make him sane, or even normal, I woulda asked his friend for the guys name and commanding officer, then contacted his commanding officer, that's so much better than the police!

That sounds like a good idea :claps:

I didnt care that much it was kinda funny.

being out at a bar doesn't make someone not a good person.

Very true, but he was not under any one's order to be respectable or professional.

my glass is half full

like I said it was funny, I was intoxicated. I was running after him mad at first but then I could help busting out laughing. and i'm still laughing. it is an expensive laugh. LOL but still funny.

I try not to stress over the little things.

Did you try calling your phone to see if he answers? Perhaps after he sobered up he'd return it? Then again....:noidea:

I would've held his friend hostage until I got my phone back......

That's a good idea, maybe he is waiting for you to call, so he can have another chance to see you! :convinced:

The you can tell him to bend over and kick him in the blankety blank! :p

note to self: when intoxicated, do not hand expensive electronic equipment to strangers

LOL LOL see now you guys are making it funnier....I should kick him in the blankety blank. and holding his sexy/quiet friend hostage might have been fun. and dehawk did pay for my new cell phone-thanks babe. i could call it because it was dead. it was on its last bit of charge when he ran off with it. and yes, never had expensive electronics to ppl when EiTHER one of you are drunk. it has my name and place of employment on the back. so i reckon he is not gonna bring it to me as this was days ago. LOLLOLLOL

Check back at the bar (or call them) to see if he left it there for you? :noidea:

And Ultimate is correct, just because a person has a certain job title doesn't mean they'll act a certain way or posses certain qualities.

Just look at our education system. How many teachers have acted inappropriately with students, are immature, etc.......too bad there isn't a personality/psychological exam given when entering into certain fields....:noidea: Sometimes one just expects certain things from certain groups of people and it's just not there. Lesson learned.:(
