DUI death

My condolences on your loss.

I don't think it's appropriate to call his death the "death penalty," which connotes a punishment for having committed a crime. Unless I misunderstood the article, Mr. Martin did nothing wrong.

That is such a shame Snibble, especially when it wasn't his first offense. I can't imagine the grief his family (and you) must feel. :(

He didn't do anything wrong, you're right he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. But you know what? The driver had absolutely no remorse, he was more concerned about his 1800.00 set of golf clubs in his truck. He tried to say John stopped short in front of him and he didn't have time to stop. That is pretty hard to beleive since John lived in that house for years. It's not like he didn't know where his drive way was. I was being sarcasic when I made the comment because the driver acted like he hit John becasue he was "in his way".

I am so sorry to hear this, snibble. :( My condolences to the your family & the family of the victim.
