Anyone find a DVD-R deal for a 50 or 100 pack? I prefer the Ritek's. I was able to get the DVD+R from newegg for $30 AR, but don't see a similar deal for the DVD-R. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, I need to pick up some DVD-R's too. I think DVD+R is crap. I got a pack of 100 Ritek's for my multiformat burner, but only 50% of them play correctly on my Toshiba DVD. They all seem to play fine on my Sony home theater, but some will work fine on my Toshiba SD3800, some will skip, and some will just make clicking noises and not play.

I'd like to try some DVD-R discs, my friend who burns a lot more than I do says that he hasn't had a problem with -R discs, but he has had trouble with +R discs.

That's because -R is a real format.. +R is something Sony transpired to 'invent' as 'competition'.. Really, Sony and another company, I forget who off-hand, just wanted to put their foot in the money machine.. In the end, it's a $hit format which isn't widely supported, and mainly just confuses most ppl in stores.. I'm a -R guy.. Pioneer rocks!
