Ed McMahon - RIP :rip:

Michael Jackson has a thread with 23 replies. Ed McMahon has a thread with no replies and Farrah Fawcett doesn't even have a thread.
This says something but I don't quite know how to phrase it.

Did you know that there is no "mood banner" for disgusted or disappointed? I guess sad will have to do.

I hear you.
There should also be a mood banner for 'pissed'

Neither Farrah nor Ed were controversial. That would explain the main differences.

An individual on a news site stated that they were waiting for an editorial cartoon showing Ed at the Pearly Gates with God opening them and exclaiming: "It's my lucky day!"

Ed was legendary.....although he never visited my house with the prize van.....:nonod:

Well, at first I somewhat was saddened that Michael would overshadow the passing of Farrah (Ed went before) but then I thought their family was pretty lucky that the services won't be as much the circus sideshow and their family may bury them more peacefully and privately.

Frankly, I'd be pretty ticked if they did go and interview every Al, Jesse & Barry for their meaningless opinions/comments just to further their agendas/'careers' (*ahem* opportunists *cough*).

Hey I never thought of that. MJ will be sucking up all the media, and Ed and Farrah's families will be able to grieve more privately. But the Jackson's strike me as the kind of people who even in their grief will capitalize off the media attention.....JMHO
