Eee PC anyone

I was just reading an article in Time about laptop.org which is similar to this. This Asus has a much nicer looking GUI though. The OLPC (One Laptop Per Child) is going to be offering their product to the public very soon. In a campaign wherein you purchase two units one of which goes to an underprivlidged third-world child the other to yours for $200 each.

Its a noble effort to say the least but I'd have to think that there are more important things to provide these kids. Food, water, bullet-proof vests, etc...
