Electric car vs Ferrari

but this kind of kills the myth that gas driven ones are more powerful
 
I've driven a few electric vehicles and the acceleration is amazing, even for a speed-freak former muscle car builder like me. The low end torque curve of a DC motor can't be touched by a piston engine. Wankel rotaries and turbines are a better match. I'd like to see that car up against some of the dual turbo Wankel dragsters I've seen.
 
In a race to 20' I bet I could out run both of them on my feet.
