PRIZE: One (1) prize consisting of roundtrip coach airfare for the winner and one (1) guest to Los Angeles, California departing on May 9, 2012 from the major airport nearest to the winner’s city of residence as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion and returning May 11, 2012; hotel accommodations (single room, double occupancy) in Los Angeles for two (2) nights; ground transportation in Los Angeles to and from the hotel and the studio where the Show is taped; two (2) VIP tickets to attend the May 10, 2012 taping of the Show; and all of the gifts from the Mother's Day show.

ENTRY LIMIT: One (1) entry per person per e-mail address per day per Show episode during each day of the entry period. Entries submitted on any given day during the entry period must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT.

ELIGIBILITY: Legal residents who are physically residing in one of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia and who are at least eighteen (18) years old as of the date of entry or the age of majority in their place of residence. Residents of Austin, Texas; Baltimore, Maryland; West Palm Beach, Florida; Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa and foreign-based U.S. embassies and military bases are excluded from entering this contest. All entrants must be pregnant as of the date of entry.

Residents of Austin, Texas; Baltimore, Maryland; and West Palm Beach, Florida are not eligible to enter this contest because the television stations in those cities which broadcast the Show are offering their own Ellen Mothers' Day sweepstakes for their residents. IMPORTANT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

To enter the contest, watch at least three (3) episodes of the show which are broadcast during the entry period. You must submit a minimum of three (3) entries for three (3) different Show episodes during the entry period. If you correctly answered at least three (3) of the Show questions during the entry period, you will be automatically entered into the contest.

Each episode of the show broadcast during the entry period will include an on-screen or verbal mention of a "Baby Name".

Following each broadcast, go to the entry form and fill in the following required fields:

(1) Correctly enter the "Baby Name" of the day from the episode of the show that was broadcast on the day you are entering;

(2) Complete the contest registration form by entering the following information: your first name; last name; email address; phone number with area code, street address, city, state, zip code, country, date of birth, and verification that you are at least 18 years of age, are pregnant, and have read and accept the Official Rules.

NOTE: There's an error in the entry form. Although Canada is listed as an option in the country field, the Official Rules state that only U.S. legal residents are eligible to enter.

(3) Submit an essay of no more than 2000 characters explaining what a trip to Los Angeles to attend a taping of the Show's Mothers' Day episode would mean to you. You only need to submit the essay with your first entry, You do not need to include the essay in either of your other two required entries.

(4) Upload a recent photo of yourself. No other person may appear in the photograph. The photo must be in one of the following formats only: JPEG (including JPEG and JPG but not JPE); GIF; PNG or BMP. You only need to download and submit one photograph in your first entry. You do not need to download and submit a photograph for either of your other two required entries.

You will be disqualified if you do not fill in all the required fields.

The essays will be judged by a panel of judges selected by the Sponsor in the Sponsor's sole discretion. The panel will judge the essays using the following judging criteria: (i) the entrant's expressed need for the prize (33 1/3%); (ii) the inspirational attitude exhibited by the entrant in the essay (33 1/3%); and (iii) the entrant's creativity in expressing herself (33 1/3%). In the event of a tie, the potential winner will be the person with the highest creativity score. In the event there is still a tie, the potential winner with the highest inspirational attitude score will be the winner.

The potential winner and her guest must be available to travel to Los Angeles on May 9, 2012 and stay in Los Angeles until May 11, 2012. Any eligible entrant who is not available to travel during that period will be disqualified.

The potential prize winner must provide the Sponsor with a letter written by the potential prize winner's personal physician on that physician's letterhead stationery and dated no later than May 1, 2012 stating that in the opinion of that physician it is safe for the potential prize winner to fly on May 9, 2012 and May 11, 2012. The entrant acknowledges that if the entrant is a potential prize winner, the entrant may be required by her physician to sign a limited waiver of the doctor/patient privilege before the physician letter will be issued. If the entrant refuses to sign that waiver, the entrant will be disqualified as the prize winner. If the entrant does not provide the Sponsor with the physician's letter, the entrant will be disqualified as the prize winner. In any event in which an entrant is disqualified, the Sponsor shall have the right, in its sole discretion, to select another potential prize winner.

Any guest allowed to accompany the prize winner to Los Angeles must be at least 18 years of age or, if the guest is a child or ward of the prize winner, the child or ward must be at least fourteen (14) years old on date of travel to Los Angeles.
