Anyway, like I was sayin', shrimp is the fruit of the sea. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. Dey's uh, shrimp-kabobs, shrimp creole, shrimp gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple shrimp, lemon shrimp, coconut shrimp, pepper shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp stew, shrimp salad, shrimp and potatoes, shrimp burger, shrimp sandwich. That- that's about it.

Yeah - it's too bad shrimp cocktail isn't included there - all the choices available for this are really really unhealthy.. is too bad 'cause I'm a shrimp fan :o

how bad is BAD? is the food as greasy as burger food?

How do you look up food nutrition for these types of restaurant services?

wow you guys make it sound so horriable. Is it that bad?

whaaatt isnt seafood suppose to be good for you?!!? hmm i wanta do this.

All seafood except fish contains moderately high cholesterol. In addition, all seafood has some mercury in it. So eating tremendous amount of shrimp (at ONE time) is not recommended for our health-conscious members.

Another thing, all seafood except fish has high uric acid content. This affect your joins, and if your uric acid is consistently above 7%, occasionally you would experience a lot of pain in your joints. And no, this is not for "seniors" only........

goodness sakes - i was just referring to everything being fried - but whatevuh!

I think I'll pass on this deal. $15 can get you all-you-can eat somewhere else that's not limited to shrimp.

Argh!! I just started a diet!!!!! !$#%!$%$%#^@^

legal seafood in boston has a shrimp trio i always get and its about 21.95 i think for about 8 shrimp (jumbo, stuffed, coconut) so I mean u don't have to eat like 50 shrimp to get your money's worth

Also think about where the shrimp comes from. It's probably farm shrimp. Such items deplete the ocean.

Can moderately and high be used in the same sentence? :D

$15 goes a long way towards all you can eat baby back ribs MMMMMMMMMM!

From UC Berkley's Wellness Department:

Q: Are shrimp off limits if I have high blood cholesterol?

A: No. Though higher in cholesterol than fish, shrimp don’t have as much cholesterol as you may think. Ten large shrimp, cooked (about 2 ounces), contain 110 milligrams, much less than a large egg (215 milligrams), and well within the 200-milligram-a-day cholesterol limit set by the American Heart Association for people with heart disease, high cholesterol, or other coronary risk factors. (If you’re healthy, limit cholesterol to an average of 300 milligrams a day.)

Moreover, some studies suggest that shrimp’s effects on blood cholesterol aren’t all bad. First of all, saturated fat raises blood cholesterol more than dietary cholesterol does, and shrimp have virtually no saturated fat. The small amounts of fat in shrimp also include some heart-healthy omega-3 fats. And as seen in research from Rockefeller University in New York City a few years ago, even though shrimp (10 ounces a day) raise LDL (“bad”) cholesterol, they raise HDL (“good”) cholesterol more, thereby improving the cholesterol ratio; plus, they help reduce triglycerides (fats in the blood). Note: The effects of dietary cholesterol vary considerably from person to person, and probably no one should eat 10 ounces of shrimp a day.

Key is Moderation

Plus I live on the Coast prefer my shrimp fresh from the Gulf.

Enjoy your shrimp you could be hit by a bus tomorrow.

It can't really be endless - just follow the tail until it stops.
