That doesn't sound bad, but what company is this? Sometimes the place offering the least expensive price isn't exactly giving you the best deal.

I purchased ink for an Epson printer from Eforcity (on eBay) and paid ~ $30 for 2 black and 6 color (2 yellow, 2 magenta, 2 cyan) compatible ink cartridges. Eforcity botched my order by sending me the wrong cartridges, they also made me jump through hoops to have my return shipping refunded. last but not least, i need to keep cleaning the ink cartridge head b/c it streaks when it prints - what a waste of ink!

well, i know i'm not telling you about a deal or anything, but i hope this info helps.

Yep that helps . . . I think I'll stick to the more expensive Epson cartridges until I hear from some people who can totally vouch for those. I'm not worried I just got the free (after rebates and deals) Epson 6400 all in one so I wanna keep it nice.

I usually run it on the preserve button to sve ink.

First of all.. I don't trust sites that make spelling mistakes

although it does sound like an amazing deal, as penpen said.. you'd probably have future problems with it.

As i expected, Overstock.com does have deals on epson carts.. and these are REAL carts.. so you dont have to worry about problems.

not sure if it's just me, but when i click on jl514's link, i see compatible ink cartridges on the overstock site - they must have changed the info on the web page.

i used to buy store-bought compatible ink cartridges for my old hp printer and even refilled a few myself - never had any problems w/ streaking or other such nonsense.

refilling cartridges for my current epson printer is more of a hassle b/c it apparently involves using a chip resetter.

i'm hopeful that there are some companies out there that are selling compatible ink cartridges of comparable quality to the epson brand b/c buying epson-brand cartridges has been a bit pricey.

ah well, here's to hoping that there's a reliable manufacturer of compatible ink cartridges somewhere out there
