Boy, talk about dumb luck!

My HP AIO just died this last weekend. Only lasted me 2 years.

Comes out to about $40 after tax, but it's still dirt cheap. Always had HP printers. Boy they sure don't build 'em like they used to. I wonder if this Epson will last more than a year.

Arrived yesterday.

As a Windows printer/scanner, it's just fine. As a stand-alone copier, it needs help. In order to make 3 copies, you have to press the "copy" button 3 times.

Get it for a high school, college-bound student.

I'm very fond of Epson printers, but the CX3810 is their ultimate low-end model. It sort of goes with the price. I have found that the CX4800 and CX7800 are very nice new Epson models, and the older CX6600 (which I have) is great as well. However, one downside is that none of their models have fax capability. You have to venture out to HP, Canon, Samsung, Brother, or others, for fax capability.
