i got inspired to run the auction from all of you here. when i saw the guy selling his forehead, the wheels in my own head started turning.

and, yes, penpen, getting paid to wear freebies isn't too bad a way to go ;) sorta like being a model without the fame and money and fan club ... LOL ...but the hundred bucks i made after fees will help pay for my trip to san francisco so i can run!!

just wait till you see the next auction i'm cooking up... working out the kinks in my idea right now -- you all are gonna LAUGH!!

i DO have an update though... the guy who won didn't expect to win, and doesn't actually own a business. :eek: he works for yahoo, but said that rather than "brand" me, he just wants pics of me twice a week (like i'd promised in the auction) ... SO... i get the auction $ but don't have to do anything but smile twice a week for the camera... :bigok:
i may just have that funny auction sooner than i thought... if i get it up and running, i'll let you all know. :beer_yum:

after emailing with him, i don't get the feeling he's a perv... i think the pervs were the ones who emailed me during the auction asking for more revealing pictures so they could decide whether they wanted to bid on me or not. :confused:

he emailed me yesterday and said he got a yahoo shirt to send to me but he doesn't expect me to wear it daily- he said wear it as a fan, not cuz i have to!! so i should still have a pic to post on my page here on spoofee. as far as hubby goes-- he's not the jealous type at all. i'm too busy chasing my kids around to have time for "frivolity" ;) (as in, i'm NEVER alone)... but he does think i'm a nut for having run this auction in the first place (no, i didn't get his approval :eek: ;) )
 
i got the tshirts today from the guys who won the auction- i posted pics on my page. so at least we know they were legit. talk about cool freebies!
