Expired--Amazon Goodie Box for FREE AR

How do these Goodie Boxes work? I have seen it many times, but have never been really interested before. On the Amazon site, it says that there is a "Special Offer" of $10; does "Special Offer" translate to "Mail In Rebate?" Please let me know if anyone else knows.

I believe the special offer is a rebate. If you click on the link, special offer, it should take you to the rebate information. As for the goodie box, it is a random cheap thing that they put in it and you just hope to get something that you want/like.

You purchase the "goodie box" and once you get it you send in the rebate for it. From the rebate form you can get 3 goodie box rebates per address. If you do get 3 of them then you can get free shipping, so the deal is totaly free. I got the last goodie box deal and in each box was a cd case that holds 12 cd's and a trial cd of some adobie software. So basicly it's junk that they throw in a box. I sent in my rebates and it took around 6 weeks to get my rebates.

I order 3 last time when I see it here, but it keep on saying item not been ship yet, And I dont want to take a risk when it come the rebate expired, so I canceled it!
