Groove, how does their price on the synthetic oil compare to wallyworld?
I've got 3 vehicles and run synthetic in all of them. I could use a price break like you got.

About once every 6 weeks they run a special where you get 5 qts of synthetic oil (usually Valvoline which is just as good as Mobil 1 imo but occasionally it will be Mobil 1 or Castrol) plus either a Fram Toughguard or K&N filter for $20-25. Basically, look at the ads when they have a sale on conventional oil which is usually $10 for 5 qts and a cheap filter. When they run that special, they also run the sale on synthetic.

Right now they have 5 qts of Mobil 1 plus a mobil 1 filter for $30 and some other deals:

Also, I noticed this coupon isn't valid for most fluids (oil, antifreeze, transmission, etc).

when i used this coupon, the cashier was the store manager, and he made a slight fuss that the coupon is technically a "friends & family" coupon, which was never meant to be distributed on the web. however, my mother-in-law actually does work for autozone, so i felt totally justified using it, and i mentioned that to him.

I had no problem at all.
The chasier asked if I wanted my second coupon back. I told her to give it to someone who looked like they needed a break. The idea seemed to shock her, but she agreed to do so.
