We have a special thanks and an important announcement to share.
We want to sincerely thank you again for all of the insight you have provided us with over the past year. We have learned a great deal from you and are so impressed by your passion for the brand. As a very special thank you, you will be receiving a gift from us in the mail soon. Inside you will find some of our best selling products that we have chosen for you.
We know that several weeks ago we promised we would get back to you with a plan for what rewards and benefits you will receive as a VIP. However, we’ve made the difficult decision to end the VIP Community as of October 2, 2009 at 3:00 pm Eastern (noon Pacific time). All good things must come to an end, and this is true for our community here as well.
Please understand the decision to end the community is strictly a business one, and in no way reflects on the amazing insights you’ve given us over the past ten months. After thoroughly assessing the situation, including revisiting our goals and information needs, we decided we needed to take a step back. It is also standard practice for research communities to end after a certain amount of time in order to get fresh perspectives, and to give us the chance to learn from the lessons we’ve learned about community management.
The Bath & Body Works brand is about pampering and taking care of women like you. We hope you continue to love the brand as much as we do. After all, our customers are the heart of our brand and we will continue to work hard to bring new and exciting products to women everywhere.
