It's going on now!

Spoofriday.com did a good job gathering Black Friday sale items and how you can organize on their site.

Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving in the United States, is historically one of the busiest retail shopping days of the year. Many consider it the "official" beginning to the holiday season. Most retailers will open very early and usually provide massive discounts on their products. A little more about the history of Black Friday

1. Take a Look at all the ads and choose what you want from each store. Make a list

2. Find the store hours and the locations you want to go.

3. Sleep early or buy a lot of Red Bull to keep yourself awake!

More and more retailers are now open on Thanksgiving day too.

does anyone have a store map layout for where departments or general items are stocked? i need one for frys...

More and more stores are handing out tickets for big sale items so you don't need to make a mad rush to the item you're looking for. So just be the first 10 in line and you'll get what you want.

I tried forwarding the link for the BFad site and 5 friends with Earthlink accounts kicked back with their firewall identifying it as SPAM. A little overzealous don't you think? Anyone else seeing this?

At some of the bigger stores (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc) 3AM doesn't cut it.

Some stores move all of their hot item around so you have to dash and grub. But most stores now will be giving you a map before the store opens.

did they have at home online deals during that day too?

They do, but it goes QUICK. I usually do my B.F shopping at a 24 hour walmart. I don't have to wait in the cold plus you have the whole store if you are hungry and indoor bathrooms. :bigok:

The biggets internet shopping day is the Monday after Thanksgiving, known as "Cyber Monday." Look for online deals that day.

Fry's is a mess on Black friday, I've gone to Fry's the past 2 years. Fry's does a good job on the control of line skippers when you're waiting to get in but in side nothing is organized. I got frustrated last year and left.

Best Buy and CC usually open at 5am. I hear that some malls will open at midnight and also some outlet mall shopping centers.

BFads.net is a great site! I love it! If you're a Black Friday shopper make an account on this site (free). You'll become addicted.

Link site can't open...

I guess too many people contact that site...

Anybody know other site?

You won't catch me anywhere near a store on Thansgiving or Black Friday. Somethings just aren't worth it.
