I just broke down and bought one for myself. Have you had any trouble with it freezing up, like people are saying? Do you have to add songs through their program, or does it show up as removable storage in windows? I could not pass it up for the price. I bought my son the iRiver HD120 and he has not had any trouble with it yet, the Ipod we returned was full of problems. Let me know. :)

I've had a couple freezes. The people over at www.delldjsite.com say to run an earlier firmware than the latest, but I run the latest anyway, because I'm just like that. :)

Every time, I just paperclip reset it and it's fine, it's really no big deal, I think I've had around three and I've had it for a while. I should probably change firmware. One annoying thing is that the little rubber legs fall off of the back like crazy, and don't even try to get replacements from Dell. Not that they're important, but I'm crazy about it. I finally just tore all them off and saved them just in case, but no big deal if you're not nuts like me.

You can add songs through Musicmatch or you can use Dell DJ Explorer. It's not quite removable storage because Dell DJ Explorer and the DJ drivers have to be installed on every system you connect it to, but it's not too big of a deal. DJ Explorer does a pretty good job of allowing you to transfer data and keep it seperate from the music on the player. DJ Explorer can also copy music, but I find Musicmatch a little more intuitive than Explorer. DJ Explorer sort of replicates a Windows Explorer interface, so it works pretty well.
