This is the real deal. I purchased one in December for a little more. I run CAD/CAM programs, CLONEDVD2 and many other heavy applications and it does very well. Never had a problem. Just ordered one of these for my niece who's graduating high school this week and she can take it to college with her.

I upgraded to 15.4" display, 60 GB HDD and the internal 802.11 b/g wireless card. with shipping and tax included it came to $515 after rebate.

Great deal.

How do you apply the Auto Discount (-22%)? It's not doing it automatically...

After adding the laptop to my cart, the total is now up to $691.55

Sub-total $619.00

Shipping & Handling $39.00

Shipping & Handling Discount -$15.00

Tax $48.55

Total Price $691.55

Given I added the $20 wireless card, but it's still no where near the spoofee price...

Is it a bad link? I can't get the 22% off either.

No 22% discount here after adding it to my cart either.:(

After buying the first one I went back to buy 2 more. The on-line 22% discount no longer shows up and the $100 rebate no longer works either. I called the 800 number and they said they would price match except for the $100 rebate. I told them I would pass. They did say I would get the $100 rebate on the one I already purchesed before they pulled it.

Clearly, it was a mistake and they honored it for orders placed up until the time it was pulled. That's pretty fair. Jut a bummer.
