The link given in the original post is within Member Purchases program, which is a program for dell employees and affiliates who have member IDs only and it is also within one of the many choices give for that model.

If you click on the link I gave, you'll see a page with all the choices for that model. Look at the very first one- the picture doesn't have a monitor in it. That choice has no monitor and 1GB2 Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz- 2DIMMs in memory. The starting price is now $279.

The deal in your link includes a celeron processor and a smaller hard drive. Not as good as the original deal. Oh well... Looks like Mom and Dad will have to wait a little longer.
