Monkfish, I got my cable today.
I was thinking it was going to be a high quality audio cable, instead its a cable with an unknown male plug at both ends.

Its almost like we ether had to use their system to use this, or I'm missing something...

Anyone?
 
OK for all of you that have no clue what this is....this is a fiber optic link for your audio to your surrond sound system. if you look at the back of (most) High definition cable boxes you will see a place for the optical end. If you have a newer audio system you will see the same thing on the back of your receiver. this takes place of the red and white plugs most are using for their audio. The fiber link delivers much better sound quality.
