Scary

This would make a great Phishing scheme to collect SS numbers. Really would be scary if it asked you for a bank account number and pin.
 
After that fiasco I heard about on the news with TJMax and Marshalls (I have indeed used plastic at Marshalls numerously), I will be extra vigilant about info I provide...

The plastic, we'll see where that goes...

Also Everyone is entitled by law to obtain a free credit report from each of the credit reporting agencies. Each year I call and have one mailed to me free of charge, it is an automated system and doesn't take long to get them. You can google them to get the phone numbers, i don't have them off hand.
 
An additon to my post above. Everyone is entitled to one free credit report A YEAR. so do it every year to be sure there are no discrepencies.
 
This seems legit. I tried it and the verification questions are actually accurate. I failed my own questions, I didn't know the answers and guessed. I also did my gf's FICO Report, and I passed those questions. So it must be fetching the credit information somehow since the answers are accurate and from the records? Which probalby means that the site is legit?
 
True you can get a free credit report, but it does not include your score (as far as I know). You would have to pay money to get your actual score.

Rather than follow the link I went through the fairisaac website and followed their links to the same page. Received my free report and everything looks legit. :) Thanks!

FairIsaac is the company that invented the FICO score, not sure how you could hear of FICO but not know what FairIsaac is.

If this wasn't legit how could some outside company have information on every creditor I've ever dealt with over the past 12 years? I'm sure this is legit. But to each his own.

TransUnion is one of the top 3 credit reporting agencies.

They only need your info to verify who you are.
