Starting November 18, 2008, bring the December 2008/January 2009 cover of Seventeen or a printout of the seventeen.com home page to any JCPenney store to receive one (1) Flirtitude panty (approximate retail value: $7.50). Twenty-five thousand (25,000) will be given away.

One per person. Giveaway ends January 6, 2009. While supplies last.

Went today and they knew nothing about it. They even called corporate and they knew nothing. Does anyone know what page it is on in the magazine and who to call in regard to this? Thanks
 
They had this same promo in January. When I went to my Penney's, they told me they weren't participating in the promo. I called corporate
(972) 431-8998 and they told me everyone was supposed to participate.
If you are having problems, I would call corporate and see what they are saying this time. They did resolve my problem.

this is the link to the page u r supposed to print. it says ANY JCP store and a limit of 25,000. i assume that is nationwide. thanks

I visited our local Penney's this afternoon. The clerk was unaware of the promotion, but called the manager on duty and got authorization to accept my free offer coupon from the magazine. They tore it out and kept it.

I doubt it would have worked if I didn't have the actual Seventeen mag...be prepared for challenges when attempting this time!
 
I went back today after calling corporate and talking to Kelly, they still knew nothing about it but called again. This time I got my panty plus the manager said take two due to your inconvience. Kelly is also sending me a $20 GC and some free panties. Thank you everyone who posted and gave me direction!
 
I have to say, I went to JCPenny's today with the coupon in the magazine and the manager was rude and said he didn't know about it and he wouldn't accept the coupon, so I told him I would be calling corporate,Plus I emailed them . So we will see what will happen
 
geez people! if you're gonna run a promo communicate it to your stores!
 
I brought in the printable page. That's not the problem. The stores are not being notified of the promotion.

reeived $10 off from any purchase of $10 or more in email the woodbridge center store in NJ did not honor, called their manager she refused, send an email to their HQ did not received any response, JC penny is worst in honoring coupons or any promotions they send in email
 
They next day aired my GC and it was for $50 not $20 I really made out on this deal!
 
I used the seventeen.com home page AND rules page and had no problems getting the panty today. The clerk did have to call her manager to get the code to put in the computer for the free panty. I don't know why they don't put the code on the printout online or in the magazine for these stores.
There are so many holiday help clerks right now, they just don't have a clue about a coupon/offer without some sort of code for them to input.
 
Looks like the deal is dead? Link at JCP is no longer working.

That link takes me in circles and I search the seventeen site for jcpenney, or for panty and more roundabout links.

I can't find it! :(

does anyone have a copy of the official rules, i looked on the site but they dont have it listed
