Krispy Kreme Doughnuts announced this morning that it will offer a free doughnut of choice to every customer on Inauguration Day, which is Tuesday.

Wow.. 75 cents donuts is not worth the 6 dollar in gas it takes to drive me there.

There's one right next to my house (less than one intersection). So, I went with coworkers around lunch and then took my kids for "dessert" after dinner later. Didn't have to pay a penny. Ended up with 4 free donuts for the day. Totally worth it!

KK opened a franchise here (the only one in my state). It was initially successful but eventually it went bust. KK is southern food and you gotta be raised on it to appreciate it.
