You need to have 2500$ to put into the bank account. I wish I had that kind of money.. :D
 
lol- if someone had $2,500 to bank, wouldnt it be a lot easier to buy a bigger ipod and stuff...
 
It's not actually a bad investment, if you have $2500 sitting in your bank. You can sell the iPod mini for around $200 so 8% return! Better than ING Direct :)
 
This sounds like an awesome deal. I think my first bill payment will be to the credit card company that I take a small cash advance from to come up with the full $2500. ;)

minimum balance for 12 months

small print says: minimum balance is $1500 for twelve months, or else they charge you a little under $10 per month service fee. But you can waive this charge and minimum balance if you sign up for direct deposit into this account.
 
Ok so I didnt read the fine print, but I got a question.

Is there anything stopping you from Opening the account with $2500, going home and paying two bills, get your Ipod Mini, and then widthdrawl the remaining balance; Thereby closing the account????

yes there is...if you don't fulfill your 2 online bill payments a month for one year, they charge you the 240.00 for the ipod..but check it out this is what I did..

I had 2500.00 in my savings, or get it from wherever..(credit card etc..) I opened the account..transferred the money, which I won't get charged a monthly fee because the balance is over 1500.00 then I will pay my first two bills online which I will do an automatic thing every month for one year like (gas bll, telephone bill etc) then I will call my job and direct deposit just enough $$ to pay for those two bills and then withdraw my 2500.00 and everything is just like before.


1.so basically you're paying two bills that you would normally pay
2. you're two bills would always be on time
3.and you get back your 2500.00 to put back wherever you found it
4.and most importantly..you get your free ipod...there and DONE!!!

Hi, once you withdraw your $2500, won't you be charged a monthly fee because
your balance is now under $1500?

The offer mentions you need open your acct w/ $2500, use the online bill pay for ONE year, and our acct needs to remain in good standing. After the first year, if you withdraw your $ & close your acct, I don't believe they'd charge you a monthly fee. I think it would be a good idea to try calling 1-800-374-9500, if you have more specific questions. :)

wow i got my free mini today. took half a year so the value went down to 170 buks for a 4 gig mini but its free so who cares. :) :tongue: :claps: ;)
i dont know if the offer is still available tho. but free ipod. whooo

yea i know its old but i got my ipod today. took a while but its free and i have it now. its all that matters.
 
my message to inform others since this is a recent post sharing information with others what offers are being held out there. Since it was an oldie, I was just giving heads up to let people know. I don't want them to sign up for an account and expect something that doesn't exist anymore.

But congrats that you got one. Everyone wants one nowadays
