wait, so the link penpen gave us is the one to the free, normally expensive, one? Or do I HAVE to e-mail them?
 
Both, I think. Download the program, and for a short while they will email you a registration code if you request one via email...

I got it, but what's so great about Opera anyways? Someone enlighten me
 
Any one get a reg code yet? I emailed them about 30 minutes ago.
 
I'll stick with Firefox, although I'll use this for testing out websites I make.

I've sent a blank email and an email with a text body asking for a code. No response for either.

Do you need to put something special in the email requesting a code?

I haven't been able to get a registration code e-mailed to me. I requested code before downloading it, but got no response. I then downloaded it and requested the code, but again got no response. Any tips? Thanks.

There is a form on the opera.com website that will generate a registration code when you put in an email account, as part of this birthday celebration:
