This Friday Krispy Kreme is giving away a free donut of your choice to anyone that comes by - celebrating the nation's Donut Day.

and this (I assume) is in addition to the glazed donut they give everybody for coming at all... Which would mean you get 2 free donuts :D
 
Awesome, I'll have to look for a location nearby. I don't know many that are really close.
 
Closest one is 8 miles or so in Springfield, not really worth the trip. I regularly go to Dunkin Donuts most mornings anyway. :D

I believe they stopped their daily free glazed donuts promotion, at least the one near my house (Daly City, CA). Last time I came in, asked for a free glazed donut, and this punk kid with a bad attitude said, "Uh, we stopped that promotion over a year ago." Haven't had one of their donuts since, but hope you guys enjoy your tasty free one.
 
You should've smacked that kid! To my knowledge it was never a promotion, it was in their business plan - not something that would change. I was at Krispy Kreme yesterday and they were still handing out glazed donuts to everyone that walked in :spoofee:

They are still passing them out around me, I was there just the other day. Nice hot fresh sticky donuts. :32: Ummm, donuts!

I went to Krispy Kreme last weekend and they were still handing out glazed donuts at that location (Arlington,TX).
 
Grr... then the Daly City, CA branch of Krispy Kreme just sucks. :thumbs_do
 
i work at krispy kreme + we still give out the hot original glazed when we`re making them. basically whatever we are making at the time, we are allowed to give out as samples to customers. it`s like one of my favorite parts of the job. i wonder why they would stop doing that though.. :\ :\
 
All I got to say is I hate Krispy Kreme. (Not the company, the donuts). I would much rather our local Tastee or Dunkin.
