as an owner of l4d, i purchased l4d2 @ gamestop for 29.99,

i'd say 30 is worth it, wont see it going down any further for a while.

the game itself is really fun, melee weapons changes everything
 
This is my 1st L4D.. I recommend not buying it.. because you can't stop playing it. Every night I come home and feel like shooting up some zombies.

 
This game IMHO is only worth about $19.99, same with the first one. Definitely not worth a penny more than Team Fortress 2 was at release. Its not a bad game just not worth $50.
