The Anonymizer Anonymous Surfing rebates both require the original UPC from the product box. That must mean that only one rebate can be used?

No Google Checkout for ON ORDER items

The Linksys router is 'on order' therefore ineligible for the Google Checkout discount.

Ineligible Items - Certain items are unavailable for purchase using Google Checkout. In addition to the items listed in Google’s Prohibited Products Policy, there are certain other items that are currently unavailable or that may become unavailable for use with Google Checkout (including, but not limited to, cell phones, market place items, digital downloads, magazines, extended warranties, pre-orders, on order items, items requiring the collection of Ca recycling fees and other special items).

How good is this router? I have a comp USA router now which seems to always cause my laptops to lose signal so i'm looking for something else. Can anyone recommend a good wireless router if not this one?

Thanks

This one is good. It is the standard Linksys 802.11g

I've used Netgear, Linksys, and D-link routers, and the only one I didn't have problems with was the Linksys. I got a lot of dropped signals on my D-Link, and it worked better when I replaced it with a Linksys, which was also a bit more pricey.

Keep your eye open for the US Robotics Max G model 5461 router. At either BestBuy or CompUSA. I got mine for $15 AR. Absolutely rock steady connection on mine, 2 rooms down the hall. IMHO the best wireless router out there today.

Before that I've used both a Netgear and a Belkin G standard router with good experiences. I've installed networks for friends and customers with the Netgear and it is a great performer.

Get a plain G standard router and don't bother with N, Pre-N or Draft-N. These are double to triple the price of a G router and will be orphaned technology as soon as N is standardized.

If you get a good deal on a MIMO -type router though consider that one as MIMO is able to reach into dead spots in your network.
