(Expired) Logitech MX1000 Cordless Mouse for $27.98 Shipped After Rebate

nice mouse for a great price, rechargage, programmable buttons.

awesome accuracy, no "wake up" lag after not using it for a while, great for gaming
 
Actually, older versions of this mouse did have wake up problems. Logitech fixed it with, if you can believe it, tweaking their software. This mouse is definitely worth $30 though. It's got a nice, solid feel to it for gaming.

I already have a MX1000 mouse that I bought more than
16 months ago (July of 2005). Does that mean there's an
updated software on Logitech's website that will solve the
slow wake-up problem?

They raised the price. It was 47.98 and after I ordered the price was raised to $59.99. I ordered just in time. I have another MX 1000 and really like the way it works.

The price got raised.

It should be updated with the latest setpoint drivers. I bought mine a few years ago and had the wake up problem big time, and then it was gone after a setpoint update.
