OK Spoosters- is this thing really worth $40? I have a laser mouse that works OK- but I have to admin in WOW it can get stuck., lag, etc.. Does the mouse really make that much difference?

Even discounted, $40 seems pricey for a mouse?
 
Bought one for my boyfriend last year and he says that it's the best mouse he's ever used. Also got him a Ratpadz to go with it. He plays a lot of computer games and he says that changing to this mouse made a huge difference.

However, I think I bought this for around $35, so maybe $40 isn't worth it?

i have the logitech mx5500 revolution ($140) set. mouse is like ~60-70 and it still disconnects every so often. and ive been facing recent lag/choppiness lately

there are many factors, such as ur OS (XP or vista) and the compatibility with your mouse/keyboard driver.

but imo more money or "gaming" edge doesnt make a mouse too much better.
my mx revolution mouse rocks though 95% of the time when it doesnt disconnect. has rechargability and great ergonomics.
logitech warranty is the best, sent me a replacement for free (unfortunately still disconnected despite bluetooth technology).
 
whether it will be worth its cost will vary person to person but I loved my MX518, and I love my G5 even more. Im having my sister buy me another G5 ($5 more than this deal) for my birthday.
 
Newegg has the Microsoft Sidewinder for 32.99 with free shipping too. I use a G5 at the moment, but have had my eye on the Sidewinder since it was released.
