Bought two netbook computers since this offer began... While I have to wait for one of the cashbacks - the other posted instantly to my paypal account. If you are going to go to Ebay anyway - sign up for this program !
 
Gift cards like amazon and costco on ebay are now more expensive than the card amount, so that with the 12% you only break even.
 
don't buy giftcards then... this is an AWESOME deal - and it works for ANYTHING that is buy it now with paypal. Buy yourself Xbox 360 games, or anything. I bought a case of baseball cards last time and with the 14% cashback i was paying less than the wholesale price on these - this is an incredible deal if you use it right.

and you don't need more than 5 dollars to get your cashback, I bought a cashmere sweater for my wife for xmas and got 1.32 cents back to my paypal account

this is what I have been waiting for because it is such a great deal - it's like having your own 14% off coupon for buy it now at ebay!
 
if it's connected with your paypal account it doesn't have to be $5. if you want them to send you a paper check it does.

I bought a Sweater for my wife and got the 1.32 cashback almost instantly to my paypal account (6 hours processing time)
 
While I agree that the 14% is a good deal, I have had noting but problems getting payments to post since mid Jan. There are several forums with others having problems i.e. http://www.*********.com/forums/deal-discussion/897612/?start=0 *****=f a t w a l l e t

I should say that payments in Nov/Dec posted fine for me, but recent payments have been a hastle to get Microsoft to pay.

Add to that that there is no 800 number to call if you have payment problems, communication with Microsoft is via an online form where you generally recieve a canned automatic response and in my case it took me 2 extra months to recieve payment on a rebate that should have been available in mid Jan.

So bottom line is this is a good deal, but you may have to fight for your money a few months from now when it should pay.
 
I bought a notebook and should have about $140 coming back...we'll see how long it takes and if I have problems.
 
It is unfortunate to hear that you are having problems. I just bought a half case of baseball cards for 500 dollars and got the 70 dollars put instantly into my paypal account. so it was $430 shipped and I just got my boxes less than wholesale.

I want to support this deal and have as many people dlo it as possible so Ebay and Live keep bringing it back - at one point they were giving back 33% (and i've seen a low as 6% before they stopped it a couple months ago)

just remember YMMV - but Mine has been flawless with no problems and discounts everywhere, it's a great thing!
 
Does my [email protected] email address have to be tied into my ebay account and paypal for them to track the purchase?

Edit: I also am not getting any sponsored results at all... Maybe I just dont have the hang of it, but I was pretty sure I had a good idea of what trendy hot new items are, they dont seem to be drawing any attention from the cashback sponsors.
 
well, as long as you're signed into Live under the cashback tab and go to ebay and use paypal it should work.

you MUST click on the link where is says click here after #2 - and then look at the top where it says "t42 www.ebay.com earn 14% cashback" - click on THAT and you're at ebay

at the top of the page on Ebay there is a green button that says "DEALS" click on that an dthen you will see the tag at the top of the screen that says 14% cashback

you MUST buy something within 60 minutes of doing this and it has to be a buy it now and paid by paypal. otehrwise it wil not work.

if you did it right, you will see the cashback tacg on the screen before you click confirm purchase -

I'm amazed that more people don't think this is a deal. it's a SCREAMING deal getting 14% cash back for something you were going to buy already?
 
Sometimes the cash back goes instantly into your paypal, sometimes it goes to your live.com account, and takes like 60 days to post.

If the money is in your live.com account, then you will need $5 before live.com will submit the money to paypal. If it is instantaneous, then you get it regardless.

The 14% is nice and has been steadily increasing over the past few weeks from 8%, but it's nothing compared to the 30-35% off that live.com was doing last year.

back before Christmas they had a 30% cashback rebate. I bought a bunch of stuff, 2 itouches, and a WII system. some stuff I got the cashback instantly and others I had to wait the 60 days but I did get it.
 
grey "Sponsored links" are gone.. Searched wii, ps3, and a few others. No ebay links. Any other searches working today?
 
go to the first post in this thread - and after #2 where it says "click here" click there - it STILL works, though it's 13% now. if it's not working for you, clear your cookies and come back to the first post in this thread and try again
 
I think this deal is dead, the grey sponsored links don't show up anymore.
Anyone have any luck?
 
took me two tries to get it to show up on IE so don't use firefox to do the search. Shows up as 13% cashback as of 4/4/09 10PM PST. Weird stuff...:confused:

as of 4/7 @3PM PST this STILL works for me, though at 11% instead of 14%

and i have been using Firefox the entire time and not had any problems with the deals showing up.
