got it but...

I finally got it in and a battery was included.
However the ac adapter or plug that goes to the unit had a short, I'm an electronic tech so I had to re-solder the socket on the unit.
I could have sent it back but too many problems. Works fine now but I would not recommend to buy it for the regular consumer.
