I haven't seen the commercial. Only thing on their site is 99cent RB float for a limited time. None of the ones near me (and there are a few) have the free ones advertisied.
 
My son works at Sonic. His manager said they were doing it June 7th from 8 pm to close (usually midnight).

I'll tell my husband to stop and see if our Sonic is giving them away. It would make a nice treat on his lunch while he's out running errands. Thanks Babs! :)
 
Why is this considered "not a deal?" A free root beer float is NOT a deal? Hmroo?
 
It's rated not a deal because no one can confirm it is valid at all locations (like with the Dunkin Donuts free iced coffee day a while ago was rtaed hot because it was widely advertised and in store windows. Also, Sonic is not in very region.)

Just called my local sonic in West Virginia. They said they are doing it on June 7th from 8:00pm-midnight.
 
hey i just called in fort worth tx, they said that the free root beer float is on june 7th. im not sure if this is just for our area or what, but thats the date for the metro plex.
 
The store near my place in pearland, tx is offering free 10oz float on june 7th from 6 pm till midnight.
