(Expired) Staples - Fellowes Mobile USB Hub Mouse for $6.99

That looks really uncomfortable. Who would want a USB device sticking into their wrist? I understand it is for travel and functionality may win out... but that looks uncomfortable unless you got a USB cable to extend the port
 
i don't think the idea is to have the usb occupied the whole time while using the mouse.

my guess it's for people that only has 1 usb port and it's being occupied by the mouse (like me on an old p2 notebook). so instead of unplugging/plugging/unplugging, etc, it's a temporary transfer of info.....

it has it's place.
